North Dakota Senior captain Chay Genoway has announced he will return to the University for another season after pursuing a medical hardship waiver, he announced in a press conference. Genoway will suit up as a 5th year Senior.
Genoway had his season cut short just 9 games in by a vicious hit by St. Cloud’s Aaron Marvin. Genoway had 4 goals and 10 points last year, and was named to the all-WCHA 3rd team despite his limited play.
With Genoway back, the Sioux lose only Darcy Zajac and Chris VandeVelde and should be an overwhelming choice for preseason #1.
