United States U18s Advance to Semis

It looked a little touch and go as the defending U18 champs failed to win their pool, but the Americans are into the semis anyways after cruising to a 6-0 win in the quarterfinals vs. the Czech Republic.
Jack Campbell, who you may remember helped the US U-20s to the World Junior title, stopped all 11 shots he faced and Austin Czarnik had a hat trick. Adam Clendening (BU commit) had 2 assists and now leads the US with 8 points.
The US takes on Finland in the semis tomorrow.
Other players on the team with whom you might be familiar are Jason Zucker, Matthiew Nieto, and Jon Merrill, who were on last year’s U-18 team.
