For the second year in a row a Senior who wears red and white will play in the national championship game as the Hobey Baker winner.
The Senior and future Nashville Predator is currently 3rd in the WCHA with 1.28 ppg and leads the conference with 28 goals. Far from being just an offensive superstar, Geoffrion matches his offense with a great defensive game as well as the type of leadership that led him to be named Wisconsin captain, and earned him the nickname Captain Asskicker.
Geoffrion is Wisconsin’s first ever Hobey winner. Congratulations to Blake as well as the Badgers.
