Thurber to Northern Michigan

Former Wisconsin Badger Matt Thurber, who was kicked off the team after receiving misdemeanors after a domestic incident, has transferred to Northern Michigan.
Due to NCAA transfer rules, Thurber will sit out all of next year and will resume his hockey career in the fall of 2011 when Northern Michigan takes on….Wisconsin.
