Cole Signs With St. Louis

Notre Dame Junior defenseman Ian Cole will forego his Senior season and sign with the St. Louis Blues. Cole will report to the team’s AHL affiliate in Peoria.
The former first round pick had 3 goals and 16 assists in 3o games for the Irish, who finished a disappointing 9th in the CCHA.
For his career, Cole had 17 goals and 48 assists.
Obviously defense is a much bigger part of his game, and his size and phsyicality should play well at the NHL level.
