1. Denver (14-5-3) (10-3-3) No Change

Denver takes on Wisconsin this weekend in a marquee WCHA matchup

2. Miami (15-4-5) (12-1-3) Up 1

Miami gets swept by Robert Morris, then sweeps then CCHA co-leader Ferris State. Sometimes I don’t understand life.

3. Minnesota-Duluth (16-7-1) (12-5-1) Up 6

Quick, take a peek at who leads the WCHA, I’ll wait. Sure they have two games in hand on Denver, but still: Minnesota-Duluth leads the freakin WCHA.

4. Wisconsin (13-6-3) (9-5-2) No Change

By allowing 6 goals to Colorado College on Saturday, Wisconsin dropped to 7th in goals allowed per game.

5. Cornell (9-4-3) (7-2-2) Up 2

According to the Ithaca Journal, 17 Big Red players had flu symptoms this weekend.

6. Yale (10-4-3) (6-2-2) Down 4

Yale is now the nation’s highest scoring offense at 4.35 goals per game

7. Michigan State (15-7-4) (10-4-4) Down 1

Michigan State is 10th in scoring defense, but allowed 9 goals last weekend. Yikes.

8. Boston College (12-6-2) (9-4-2) Up 4

Cam Atkinson loves Hockey East play: He’s 2nd with 10 goals in conference play.

9. North Dakota (12-7-5) (8-7-3) Down 4

I said it yesterday morning, I’ll say it again today: You can’t win a national title with Brad Eidsness in net. Period.

10. Union (13-4-5) (7-0-3) Up 6

Union is the only team in the country unbeaten in conference play.

11. Ferris State (16-6-2) (10-4-2) Down 3

Ferris got swept by Miami, but still are tied for the most wins in the country.

12. Colorado College (13-8-3) (9-6-3) Down 2

Joe Howe has made the most saves of any goalie in WCHA play (489)

13. Bemidji State (15-5-2) (9-1-0) Down 2

Even though they allowed 7 goals this weekend, the Beavs are still 2nd in scoring defense.

14. St. Cloud State (14-7-3) (9-5-2) Newbies

Maybe Dan Dunn should get more starts. He has the 2nd highest save percentage in the WCHA in conference play.

15. New Hampshire (10-7-4) (9-2-3) Newbies

Conference play agrees with Bobby Butler. The Senior has 12 goals in 14 league games.

16. UMass (14-8-0) (9-6-0) Newbies

Not confident with this one. There were about 10 million teams I could have put here.

Dropped Out: Maine, UMass-Lowell, Quinnipiac

Maybe Next Week: Maine, Minnesota, Vermont

Teams By Conference: WCHA 6, ECAC 3, CCHA 3, Hockey East 3, CHA 1
