Lighting The Lamp: Happy Halloween

Robert Morris 8, Quinnipiac 5: JC Velasquez had two goals for Bob Mo. Not too bad, except he was completely overshadowed by teammate Nathan Longpre, who had 4 goals in the Colonials win

Yale 5, Princeton 2: Ryan Rondeau had 40 saves for the Bulldogs, and 5 different Yale players scored to give them their first win of the year.

Army 2, RPI 1: Always nice to see Army get a win. Owen Meyer got the game winner at 7:26 of the 3rd period, and Jay Clark made 39 saves.

Wisconsin 6, UNH 1: Wisconsin got 2 goals from Jordy Murray, and Brendan Smith had three assists. Brian Foster had 30 saves for UNH, but he was pulled midway through the 3rd period.

Providence 2, UMass 1: Kyle MacInnon and Matt Bergland had the two Friar goals, while goaltender Alex Beaudry made 47 saves in the win.

Michigan 6, Lake State 3: Chris Brown absolutely beat up the Lakers last night (yay I’m the millionth person to make that joke!) potting two goals in the win. Ben Winnett also had two goals. Each goalie made at least 30 saves. The attendance was just 2209. Seriously if you’re only going to draw just over 2000 when Michigan is in town, maybe their program should be in trouble and UAH should be in the CCHA.
