A very mini version today. The St. Cloud Times is reporting that goalie Jase Weslosky will be ruled ineligible for this season, and will likely transfer to Bemidji State. Although Dan Dunn is the only goalie back with experience, incoming Freshman Mike Lee figures to be the favorite for the starting job. Back to back Freshmen (John Muse and Kieran Millan) have won NCAA Championships. Just sayin’
The other news is that the US Women’s Olympic hockey roster will be named at 1 PM central time. Jocelyn and Monique Lamoureux have been confirmed to be on the team, not that that’s any surprise. The US women should be co-favorites with Canada to take the gold.
