With the 2014-2015 NHL season underway a new bread and generation of NHL players are trying to leave their mark on this season. Aside from the playoff race, the most exciting race is Calder Trophy race as the top rookies battle it out in the scoring ranks.

Last season Nathan MacKinnon took the NHL by storm and brought home the Calder Trophy with an impressive year with Colorado Avalanche. This season there are a bunch of young and exciting rookies to watch out for and of them could end up taking home the Calder. It’s going to be a really great race to watch this season and here are a few of the guys you need to watch out for.
