Traverse City Tournament: Players to Watch

Numerous rookie tournaments are getting underway this weekend as NHL teams get ready to send their future to war. One of the tournaments going down this weekend is the Traverse City tournament where the Buffalo Sabres, Detroit Red Wings, Carolina Hurricanes and New York Rangers among other teams will have rookie competing.

There are going to be a ton of prospects spinning your head this weekend, so we’ve selected a few that you need to keep an eye in case they crack their NHL teams roster. This tournament may be a big tell for a lot of prospects, so here’s a few to watch closely.

Obviously you’re going to watch the 2014 first rounders such as Ivan Barbashev, Robby Fabbri, Sonny Milano and Julius Honka but we once again wanted to bring attention to some of the players you may not realize are playing.
