Despite the fact the Blue Jackets went out in the first round, Boone Jenner had a solid coming out part for the Jackets. In his 6 playoff games, he recorded 5 points and become one of the go-to guys for the team. Fans saw another side to his compete and drive to win and they liked what they saw. Jenner is a real character leader who most teams would love to have. He knows how to score big goals and annoy opponents just enough to draw them into taking penalties.

Jenner was a big surprise but his impact and growth in the playoffs with the Jackets will serve both him and his team well going forward in his NHL career. With Jenner leading the way, the Jackets might continually find their way back to the postseason.
