Smile people, it’s finally Friday! Friday, Friday, gotta get down on Friday; too soon? Well it’s finally Friday which means the work week is just about finished and playoff hockey is right around the corner again! This is the downside with having only two teams left, the long layoff between games.

Anyways, take a lap around the NHL with us on this fine Friday morning would you?

The Toronto Maple Leafs are heavy in the trade market right now and they’re shopping all but four players. On that list of four players is reportedly first line centre Tyler Bozak. Go ahead, I’ll give you a minute to clean up the coffee you just spilt. Yes, the Leafs have listed Tyler Bozak as an untouchable on their roster. Imagine the phone calls; “Hey Nonis, let’s talk about a centre” “I want to be clear man, you can not have Bozak under any circumstances. Okay?” [The Score]

For some reason, whether it be marketing or just fun, the NHL has teamed up with the Simpsons to Simpsonize NHL team logos. Some of them were pretty sweet, while others left something to be desired. Here’s a list of the 10 best and 5 worst logos. [Puck Daddy]

We all know Henrik Lundqvist is a world class goaltender and likely the only chance the Rangers have in this series. However, the Rangers might need him to step up his offence as well if they have any chance of winning the Stanley Cup. [The Onion]

This is a great draft for a lot of teams. Since the front end talent isn’t like a McDavid, the first round is fairly deep in character guys who can become franchise players. What that means is lots of teams are hoping to jump into the top 5 spots and as a result, both the Buffalo Sabres and Florida Panthers have numerous options available ahead of the draft in June. Trading away their top pick might just be the best option, unless of course the Sabres are hoping to net both the first and second pick in the draft. [Bleacher Report]

Considering my favourite team is one of the worst teams in the NHL right now, I’m not a huge fan of this one. Should the NHL consider giving the Stanley Cup Champions a top 3 pick? You know, give the guys in the finals a little more motivation? Teams that win the Stanley Cup have done something right in their system and in my opinion don’t need the help or the reward. They have the sacred Stanley Cup, shouldn’t that be enough? [Too Many Men]

Imagine getting the best deal of your life on something you’ve always wanted, say Stanley Cup Final tickets for $1. Well a guy who bought tickets on StubHub purchased a Stanley Cup Finals ticket for only $1. In fact he bought 4 tickets at roughly $1. Talk about a steal of a deal right? Wrong. StubHub cancelled the purchase because that can’t possible happen and refunded him $300 which won’t even be enough to buy a Stanley Cup ticket. [Dead Spin]
