Brock McGinn- Guelph Storm

After a four-game stint in the AHL at the end of last season, Brock McGinn is back with the Guelph Storm and lighting up the OHL. He recorded an impressive 85 points in 58 games for the storm this season and has 7 points in 7 playoff games. The Storm are now in the OHL championships after winning their conference and are one step away from a memorial cup birth. McGinn did serve a brief suspension this season but aside from that McGinn has had a near perfect season with the Storm.

The Hurricanes drafted Brock McGinn in the second round of the 2012 draft and while you wouldn’t classify him as a skilled forward, he’s easily a third line guy who makes the whole team better. He works hard, goes into the corners and knows how to put up big points. Expect him to play full time in the AHL next season and possibly earn some time with the Hurricanes.
