The Leafs landed a very solid young prospect by a trade with the Anaheim Ducks. Peter Holland gives them options with Nazem Kadri and other centres. Holland has really found his game the last two season’s and is rounding into a top 6 centre option for any team. He’s as close to an NHL player as one can get, having played in 39 games for the Toronto Maple Leafs this season. However, he also dressed for 24 AHL games between the Norfolk Admirals and Toronto Marlies.

In his NHL time this season he recorded 11 points, while he put up 19 in the AHL. It would not come as a surprise for many if Peter Holland was a top 6 centre for the Toronto Maple Leafs next season.
