The Portland Pirates head to Manchester to take on the Monarchs in hopes of getting above the .500 mark again.  They are coming off of a loss at home to the Providence Bruins where they fell 5-2 after two empty net goals did them in.

Today David Rundblad is looking to keep his scoring streak going as he has registered goals in four of his last four contests. Along with Runblad captain Alexandre Bolduc is looking to preserve his points lead by adding to it with either an assist or goal.  He currently holds the team high with 18 points, 12 goals and 6 assists.

For Manchester, Brandon Kozun is trying to preserve his points lead with a team high 17 with 5 goals and 12 assists.

The last time these two teams met, the Pirates were able to get the game-winning goal in overtime.  However the Monarchs hold a 2-1 advantage.

Face off is at 3:00pm at the Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester and the game can be seen on AHL Live.
