Tommy Cross Returns to Providence

Today the Providence Bruins called upon the South Carolina Stingrays defenseman Tommy Cross for this weekend’s game against the Connecticut Whale.  Tommy Cross is a Boston College graduate, playing for their hockey club all four years, posting 17 goals and 43 assists in 134 games.  He joined the Providence Bruins for two games at the tale end of last season and registered two penalty minutes.  He attended developmental camp and was assigned to South Carolina on October 11.

This season Cross has played in 22 games with the Stingrays and has posted 17 points, 6 goals and 11 assists.

Cross was signed by the Boston Bruins on April 11 of this year to a one-year entry level contract.
