The Ontario Hockey League is in the midst of announcing which players will represent the league in the upcoming Subway Super Series, to be held November 5-15 in locations across Canada.

One player already announced is Adam Pelech of the Erie Otters. The 18-year-old Toronto native leads Otters defensemen this lead, garnering nine points in 12 games so far. He was recently selected by the NHL’s New York Islanders in the third round of this year’s NHL draft after notching two goals and 18 assists in 44 games last season with Erie.

Buffalo Sabres prospect Dan Catenacci, a center for the Owen Sound Attack, has also been named to the team. Catenacci has six goals, eights assists and a plus-8 rating just 11 games this season so far.

Frank Corrado and Josh Leivo, 19-year-old captain and alternate captain of the Sudbury Wolves, will also participate in the tournament. Other big names include Malcolm Subban, Slater Koekkoek, Ryan Strome, Max Domi and Kerby Rychel.

The tournament begins November 5 as Team Russia faces Team QMJHL. Those same teams will play each other again on November 7 before Team OHL’s games on the 8th and 12th of the month hosted by Guelph and Sarnia, respectively. The WHL hosts the final two games November 14 and 15.

In the tournament’s history, Team OHL is undefeated against Russia, having won all 18 of the games to this point.
